Primal Screen is looking for a Temporary/Freelance Creative Web Developer. This is a remote position, with immediate opportunities and longer-range start dates possible.
About the position
This is a project-based remote opportunity. Note well: All applicants must be based in the US and legally eligible to work in the US. Priority for hire will be given to Georgia-based candidates.
Using your skills and talents, you will work closely with our animation and design teams to create
- Promotional microsites and web experiences
- Web-based educational games with rich, high-quality animation
- Curriculum-focused tools and activities for new educational platforms
The ideal candidate will have these skills and traits
- 2+ years developing web-based games and interactive experiences
- Proficiency with modern HTML, CSS, and Javascript
- Experience using Git or other version control systems for collaboration
- Familiarity with agile development practices
Extra credit for experience with any of the following
- PixiJS, ThreeJS, or other canvas frameworks
- GSAP, Spine, or other javascript animation frameworks
- Adobe tools and programs like Illustrator, Photoshop and Animate
- Gulp, Webpack, or similar build tools
